Bugs about deployment diagram have opened since a long time, we already
discussed about them on papyrus for education mailing list some times ago.
I opened them and ... As I said, it is hard to teach deployment diagram
without communication path ...

if yes can you submit a bug in papyrus and a way to reproduce the
problem?
Particularly Papyrus lacks support of modeling the UML
"CommunicationPath".
There is already a bug from 2011:
