[platform-vision] Fwd: [Feedback] Eclipse IDE enhancements
|
I reached out to the Gradleware development team to learn about their requirements for good Gradle support in the Eclipse IDE. Attached the answers of Etienne. I personally think the "Multiple Classpath" entry is one that is very important for the future of the Eclipse IDE.

Subject: Gradle requirements for Eclipse
To:
radim.kubacki@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
hans.dockter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxHi Radim, Hans,
I'm currently part of a high-level planning group for the Eclipse IDE in which we are trying to define the future improvement areas so that Eclipse will stay the number #1 IDE for Java in the future.
Do you have requirements for the Eclipse IDE which would make Gradle support easier?
Our company is currently active in the Eclipse platform project but I try to collect also requirements for other area so that I can present it to the other teams like JDT.
Best regards, Lars
