Re: [platform-vcm-dev] CVS and WSAD

Sorry, I just as I was hitting <send> I realized that since you are WSAD
you are likely 1.0 VCM CVS.

You will first want to create a repository location in the Repositories
view. Then any Team operation on the project will prompt for the location
(e.g. Team->Synchronize with Stream).

The files are automatically added to source control if you
Team->Synchronize with Stream the file or its parent folder, provided its
not in the .cvsignore or the global ignore (see Team preferences).

We have just started a new project and need to use a source control system
to regulate access between team members. I have setup a CVSNT server
recently and have been able to test and connect to it from Eclipse.
However, I have a few questions.

We are using WSAD.

1. How do we add a project already in the workspace but not in the CVS
repository using Eclipse? Or, do we have to do this manually via the
command line?

2. Once we establish 1., how do we add new files to the CVS repository
when we add new files to the corresponding project.

3. Is there ANY documentation at all on getting up and running with a VCM
system on Eclipse from the Eclipse point of view??

Thanks,
Scott
