[platform-ui-dev] Good example for an automated UI-Test in Platform

Dear all,
in the course of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=530835 we want to provide an automated Test for a preference page (one you run as “Junit Plug-in test”)
Is there a good example how this is usually done in eclipse platform?
