Re: [platform-ui-dev] Context menu on Project Navigator not really contextual

Folks, reorganizing the menu structure will only get us so far and IMO not far enough...the problem is that there are far too many items in the menus. We need some way to allow users to filter unwanted entries. Perhaps it's time to redo the current CustomizePerspectiveDialog (since it's not really working now anyways) with a goal to using it to facilitate this type of filtering...

We could also group entries which have a logical connections and are not frequently used. I created https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=438788 to suggest to group "Close Project" and "Close Unrelated Project" in a submenu in the Package Explorer context menu

IDE stuff, I guess. The things you see in the project navigator and package explorer, the editors, the outline view. Stuff like that. The context is fairly obvious from the objects we show there. That's why when we show things that aren't tied to the context why it's so weird.
Ok, I got it now ;)
Thanks.
