Re: [platform-ui-dev] Emacs plugin
|
Lars,
It's always nice to see people interested in making contributions to
Eclipse. A good place to start reading about contributing is:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Development_Conventions_and_Guidelines
If the contribution is small enough to be provided via a patch, then you
can attach the patch to the bug itself. If your contribution turns out to
be larger, then you may need to fill out the contribution questionnaire:
http://www.eclipse.org/legal/ContributionQuestionnairePart1-v1.0.php
Once you have contributed a patch for the bug, you should re-open it.

Subject
[platform-ui-dev] Emacs plugin
Hello,
According to this page, which is a request for a plugin integrating
Emacs as an editor for Eclipse,
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=32589
someone interested in working on such a plugin should send a mail to
this development list.
I may be in a position to do that work. Would that be welcomed by the
Eclipse project? If so, which people should I get in touch with, and
what documentation should I read?
Best regards,
Lars Brinkhoff
