I'm going away for a couple of weeks, so I want to get this ball rolling 
before I leave.  Paul Webster has been fixing bugs and providing patches 
for 
the past several months.  His work has been of quality, and I feel he 
should 
receive commit rights to plat-ui.

Will anyone back me up?
