[platform-ui-dev] UI-based bug reporting / feature requesting

hi,

is there any interest / task to provide workbench-based integration
with a bug-tracking system? not full querying and browsing, but
just for reporting bugs and requesting new features?

i was thinking, maybe as an addition to the Help menu, have a
"Report Defect", and "Request Feature". however, it would be nice
to be able to configure it to report to Bugzilla systems other 
than Eclipse's, for people working on other OSS projects.

the interface would be a UI equivalent of what you can currently
access via the Bugzilla web interface, and it would POST submit to 
the relevant CGIs.

also, it would have to store (in some XML configuration mined from
the Bugzilla database) the components, platforms, versions, etc which
are defined for a specific system.
