JDT Core team is considering the following bugs for RC3: 

435463         -  StackOverflowError when compiling generic code 
435399         -  IllegalStateException in Java Compiler related to Null Analysis and Generics 
435462         -  [1.8] NPE in codegen with nested conditional and allocation expressions 

All three bugs are about the compiler crashing under certain scenarios with valid code. We have patches for all of them but pending reviews.
