Fixes for RC4 require an additional reviewer and PMC approval (RT PMC in this case). From a quick look at the bug [1] being fixed, it doesn't look like a show stopper. The fix was made in HEAD over two months ago, and I don't see any comment in the bug about why it is only now being considered for 3.6.1, in the final week and after our last test pass. Also, Scott asked for confirmation in the bug that the fix addressed the problem because he couldn't reproduce it, and he didn't get a response. Can someone who is able to reproduce the bug confirm that the fix solves the problem?
