Re: [platform-dev] Stale bugs marked as won't fix

There are only about 3000 open SWT bugs now, please don't close them automatically.
Enough of them are valid, but original reporters have obviously moved on.

How can I find the bugs that have been auto-closed?

Friends of Eclipse,

the PMC decided that bugs marked as stale will also be closed using
the "stalebug close" bot from the foundation.

Dani: Discuss (again, see below) resolution for stale bugs

We want to ask the webmaster that stale bugs are directly closed.
ACTION ITEM for Lars
We will only auto/mass close existing stale bugs with notification turned off
-----------------

Reasons for this:
- User did mostly not react then the bug was marked as stale
- We want to avoid email bombs if we close stale bugs which did not
receive an update
