After reinventing several wheels, this build now works, except for one 
thing.  The "install" phase does not gather the PPC executable 
"eclipse" and place it just under eclipse/ in the result zip file.  
After copying it to that spot, Eclipse 3.1M3 comes up and performs 
flawlessly.

I admit that I have only scratched the surface, but one characteristic 
of the build makes me rather uneasy.  Ant reports "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" 
when some bits and pieces have not been built and are missing from the 
result.

Does this happen with other target / os combinations?
