[platform-debug-dev] need help with memory view

Hi All,
I was trying to test the memory renderings patch from Bug 280831  today but while trying to reproduce the bug and verify the patch I ran into a problem where I couldn't get the renderings to update their contents when stepping.  I'm not a memory view user and I haven't worked on its implementation either so I'm not even sure that what i'm seeing is not expected. 
Is anyone in this community using the memory renderings from Platform and could validate their operation in Juno?  BTW, WindRiver is using a rendering implemented in CDT.
