[platform-debug-dev] launch config shortcuts problem

It seems that the methods setDefaults() and initializeFrom() get invoked
with a different
instance of my CppLaunchConfigurationTab when clicking on the "New
configuration" shortcuts.
Everything works fine if clicking on "Edit Configurations".
Is this a known problem?  (I am working with M5).
