Hi Beth, I raised the issue with Perforce. They could not reproduce the problem and it turned out to be specific to one machine so I have worked around it by moving to a different machine. The entire plugin stopped working completely, there was no sign of it at all, although it still showed up as being installed.

But in spite of that...
Can you be more explicit than "no longer works" ?
Is there any information in your <workspace>/.metadata/.log file that seems to indicate a particular error that you could provide?

After updating to PTP 5.0.7 the P4Eclipse plugin (http://www.perforce.com/product/components/eclipse_plugin) no longer works.
I have no way of knowing if the problem is with P4Eclipse or PTP. Can someone else confirm this problem on Linux?

PTP 5.0.7 (and thus Photran 7.0.7) is released, which includes bug fixes since our 5.0.6/7.0.6 release.
The PTP-specific update site at http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/updates/indigo now contains PTP 5.0.7.

The "Eclipse IDE for Parallel Application Developers" still contains PTP 5.0.5 so if you like you can update it with this 5.0.7 release.
