[photran-dev] HEAD moving to Photran 6/CDT 7/Eclipse 3.6

As discussed on the last PTP monthly call, PTP and Photran are joining the Helios release train in June. See Greg's post to ptp-dev copied below.

As of today, Photran HEAD is moving to Eclipse 3.6/CDT 7. Specifically, I recommend using the latest milestone build of the Eclipse 3.6 SDK and pulling CDT from HEAD.

The Galileo (Photran 5) release series is now in the photran_5_0 branch, and the 5.0.0 release is tagged photran_5_0_0 (it is also tagged v200912042036).

Luckily, so far, no changes to Photran have been needed, so the code in HEAD is still identical to the 5.0.0 release, at least for the moment.

We need to begin preparation for the 4.0/6.0 release to coincide with the Helios release next June. In particular, we need to be part of the M4 build at the end of this week.

I'm planning to create a ptp_3_0/photran_5_0 branch today. HEAD will then become 4.0/6.0.

Jeff, as Photran is likely to be the most impacted by this, you probably need to get Eclipse 3.6/CDT 7.0 installed and take a look asap.

If anyone has any problems with this, let me know.
