Hello - I've fairly recently begun using the file comparison feature
in Eclipse/Photran and think it is a very powerful and effective feature. As I
am doing a lot of scientific computing, I am using the compare tool for output
files, some of which can be very large. To minimize the differences, I would
like to be able to specify a tolerance within which a numeric difference would
be ignored (or simply highlighted, rather than being called out as a
difference). Is this a function which seems to be of general interest to the
developer/user community? How would I go about formally requesting such an
enhancement? If this is being addressed to the wrong mailing list, please
