[photran-dev] slowness and strange backwards typing issue

Hi Photran developers,
First I'd like to chime in on the slowness issues.  I'm using MacOSX
10.4.x with Java 1.5_x and yes typing is slow and very CPU intensive
when using the Fortran editor.  But I writing to notify of a strange bug
or issue.  Whenever I try to write a file open statement
"OPEN(UNIT=###,FILE=$$$$$$$$,......) I'm getting a real strange error
after typing "file=".  As soon as I type the =, all my typing start
showing up backwards eg: the word "filename" show up like "emanelif". 
It does this until I move off the line using the mouse. Maybe this is
just and issue with the Macosx version.  Also I'm using the Fixed Format
editor.
