Glad there will be a SR1 release because editing any file over 1,000 lines slows my Eclipse PDT to a grind. I'm not sure if SR1 fixes this issue because the changelog on the hudson site was empty.  :(

ETA when this would go out in an official update?

A new Eclipse PDT Helios SR1 release candidate is ready http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/36/download/20100913-1410/
Although a quick sanity test passed, it will be helpful to get the support of the community to verify this build on several OSs. If nothing major is found this build will be the final one.
