RE: [pdt-dev] How to make code assist of functions automatically?

I'm aware of that, the difference between Aptana and PDT is that Aptana
choose not to use Eclipse standard content assist mechanism.

I have tried Aptana Php Editor (last nightly) and in this editor eclipse

automatically  show code assist only built in php function (doesnt help 
with user functions and variables ) but it is possible so you can make 
something similar.
