[pde-build-dev] site.xml and ".qualifier"
|
Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right place
to ask this question, but currently, how does the Eclipse team "create"
site.xml for their update sites? I assume there is some sort of substitution
going on at build/deployment time to grab the generated version qualifiers
for the features (with the checksum appended)? I was in the midst
of writing a build task to do this in my particular build process, and
noticed that the PDE tries to validate the content of site.xml in my update
site project. If I put in replacement strings I get errors - which
is OK, but prompted me to just check with the experts; is there any infrastructure
in PDE build for doing this substitution in site.xml, or am I right in
just assuming this is something I need to take care of myself?
Thanks,
Mark.
