[ospo.zone] Update on the OSPO Alliance
|
Hiho good people,
I hope you are doing well - and not too hot. Here is an update about the OSPO Alliance activities and latest news.
* We have a new member! Please join me in welcoming the Trinity College of Dublin [1], represented by John Whelan. Welcome onboard!
* As you probably realised already, we have a new domain name [2] and a new website. We are currently adding more content and resources.
* We now have an official Portuguese translation of the GGI Handbook [3]. Thanks to our contributors for this work. We are still looking for translators and reviewers for the Italian and Spanish versions. If by any chance you do speak these languages (or know someone who does), please get in touch!
* We worked on a Consultancy Hub, to list trusted partners who can offer serious consulting and training on OSPOs and the GGI Handbook. The charter can be found in [4], and we plan to publish a first batch of names in the Fall. If you are interested in using, or providing, such a service, join the conversation [5]!
* No rest for the wicked: we continue working on the next version of the handbook during the summer break, with a lot happening on new metrics for activities, a new innersource chapter, and various resources updates. Once again we welcome [5] any contribution and good wiil. :-)
* Last but not least, the OSPO OnRamp sessions have been paused during the summer break. Our next session will happen on the 15th of September [6], don't forget to book the date!
