Type Safe Events 1.1

  • Review of the latest updates - agreement that we’re ready to merge and finish the TCK
  • AICAS providing some development time to work on the TCK


Open Source Development - Sovereign Tech Fund

  • Jürgen outlines a government funding opportunity
  • Applications in June for funding for Open Source development
  • Topics
    • What do we want to achieve?
    • How much will it take?
  • James recommends we consider a consortium
  • Jürgen will create a Wiki page for collecting ideas


Feature Launcher Service 1.0

  • Discussion of the initial API submission
    • Some questions about the use of the ArtifactRepositoryFactory API
  • Comments to continue on the Pull Request, general consensus on the approach


Resolver specification bug

  • Tom outlines the difficulties in implementing the “strict” behaviour
  • Agreement that there is no compelling reason to require the strict behaviour
    • Remove/explicitly allow the resolver to provide a different list instance
    • Require that the resolver not “mess up” the order of the list so any remaining items are in the same order as originally returned by the ResolveContext
    • Require that the ResolveContext not re-order existing capabilities when inserting the host capability.
  • Tom will make the specification update


Annotation Discovery capabilities

  • Christoph outlines the requirements for discovering annotations from a repository
  • Agreement to start a design branch with strict requirements
  • The intent is to extend the common namespaces chapter, not create a new specification

osgi-test 1.3.0 is now released
