Title: Re: Your book
Drat, you’ve found me out ;)
Sure, feel free to use whatever you’d like (that’s why I wrote it). I have some updates to submit to catch up on with recent developments made in Amalgam and the Ganymede release version of GMF/QVT/etc. Hopefully, I’ll have these done by the end of the year.
You might find the ‘DSL Toolkit’ configuration of modeling projects from Amalgam useful, particularly considering I created it to align with what’s used in the book ;) I also include the sample projects from the book (found via Welcome screen and New -> Examples -> DSL Toolkit).

(actually, the builds are still uploading so give it a bit)
Thanks,
Rich

Hi Rich,
Just a quick note to let know that both B. and I started reading your book yesterday. We had a fairly long train trip that provided that perfect opportunity to take a few idle hours to get started. Now that we have begun we do wish that we had a free week to spare to simply sit down and digest it in one go.
I must say, though, that I am a bit disappointed in you. I thought that you became the ORMF mentor because you cared about the project. To find out now that it was simply a ploy to "steal" our ideas for you book is a real blow ;-)
All kidding aside, there is some really good material in the book that I suspect will be quite useful for ORMF. Is it okay with you if we mine the material and the code where appropriate?
I would encourage everyone on the team to read this as the concepts and technology are central to what we are looking to accomplish.
Thank you very much for making this available Rich, it is pleasure to read.
All the best,
Joel
