Project conference calls (was Re: [ormf-dev] Synopsis of where things are at)

Great idea, Ben.

I think some kind of white-boarding/desktop sharing session would be preferable to a simple conference call. That way we could have a more thorough and meaningful sharing experience. If we all had Macs, that would be easy as pie as screen sharing comes free with the OS. However, since the world is less than perfect :-), we would need to think of an alternative solution.

I am going to take a quick look at a couple of possible solutions, in the realms of the Eclipse Communication Framework (preferable for obvious reasons) and Skype plug ins. I will get back with results shortly.

Until next time,
B.

I know there have been a lot of e-mails that have been sent back and forth. However, I think it would be nice if we could have 1 hour perhaps every 3 weeks or so to have a meeting set up over the phone to discuss on who is doing what, where things are at, etc. This would allow us to know where certain individuals are at with tasks, what expectations are required for each task, etc. Does anyone have a global conference call number we could use? Perhaps an e-mail synopsis could be sent out every 3 weeks, etc. Just putting this out there to see what you guys think.
