The best way would be to run with the latest code from Git. I have updated the instructions on our wiki page here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Orion/Getting_the_source and listed the read-only Git URLs so that anybody (not just committers) can get the source.
The other option would be to use one of the recent builds that are known to work and don't have the compressed source enabled. Andrew, do you happen to know which of the recent builds would satisfy both conditions?
Please let me know if this is not what you were looking for, or if you encounter any problems.
