Re: [orbit-dev] Can't find Orbit library CQ 3841
|
There is an "ATO" CQ (that is
CQ 3841)
... but, I'm not sure anyone ever added it since I don't see it in the
repository.
In fact, I did a bugzilla search, and
these look relevant:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=305404
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=305405
There is no explanation, but does say
"The JAXB ... XJC jar was ultimately not added
to orbit."
I guess the project just ended up not
needing it?
Thanks,

Thank you for your answer! No, I never thought
that a library gets attached magically.
That CQ 3841 is from another project and
some years ago. I don't know the procedure but I thought when there is
a ATO then the library gets committed by the project. Maybe that is not
correct, so please tell me.
Thanks,
Simone

I had to look up the CQ to see you are
talking about some "jaxb" related package ... and I don't see
it in Orbit either. (Though, admit, I am not sure exactly what package
you are talking about).
But, let me ask ... who put in Orbit? Just from the tone of your note,
it almost sounds like you think once CQ is approved it auto-magically shows
up in Orbit, but that's not the case. Someone must put it in there, either
convince an existing committer to do it, or someone offer to become a committer
to do it.
Can you give us more info on what its name should be? What projects or
committers might be involved?
Thanks,

Can't find Orbit library CQ 3841
Sent by: orbit-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi,
regarding our CQ 6693 we should reuse the Orbit Library from CQ 3841 but
I cannot find it in the Orbit.
Can someone help me solve this problem?
Thank you!
