Will
org.apache.batik.pdf also be moved to Orbit too? It’s both required in
TPTP and BIRT now.
If yes, will it be available
in Orbit before Europa M6?
Thanks,
Xiaoying Gu

build re-spin?
Hi Christian,
TPTP would like to pick up the batik bundles from
Orbit. Can you give me the list of bundles that is equivalent to the
original Batik plugin in GMF CVS? How many orbit bundles do I need to get
and what are the plugin IDs?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have released a new line-up of Batik bundles to fix
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=177751 and am eagerly awaiting
the results of the next build. A test build on my machine seemed to
produce correct-looking JAR bundles.
Thanks, and apologies again for this late-breaking update.

[orbit-dev] Stable build
re-spin? [was Re: Orbit Build problem: commons.net ready for release .. but
does not show up]
|
|
Hi, David,
If nobody objects, I would ask for a re-spin of the stable build later today. Sorry
for the late notice! I just heard back from one of the Batik developers
on questions that I had about the licensing of the org.w3c.* packages that are
bundled with Apache Batik, that I raised on following up Martin's comments
about missing about.htmls and license information.
It turns out that the information about the versions of the SVG DOM packages
that I had found on the Apache website was misleading, and I need to update the
version number of one of my bundles. I also have more accurate license
information to include in these bundles.
I should be able to finish these updates, this morning (Eastern Daylight Time).
The most jarring impact will be that the org.w3c.dom.svg bundle version
actually *rolls back* from 1.2 to 1.1, as I am now assured that this is the
correct version number.
So, I'll go ahead and release when I'm ready, and let you know on the mailing
list when I've done that. Then, we can decide on a re-spin. It
would be nice to get this fixed for M6.
This problem is tracked by
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=177751.
Thanks,
Christian
