Dear Open VSX community,
I wanted to share an upcoming event that may be of interest to the Open VSX community: the AI Coding Workshop: Berlin Edition, taking place on 15 September.
The workshop will be led by Dr Jonas Helming, Eclipse Theia project lead and CEO of EclipseSource.
It is aimed at developers and technical teams already using AI coding tools who want to structure and improve their engineering practices. The workshop is tool agnostic, with techniques applicable across tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Kiro, Theia AI, and others.
We will also have a guest session from Salih Güler, Senior Developer Advocate at AWS, including a practical demonstration of AWS Kiro.
The workshop is sponsored by Open VSX. Participants will also receive a Credly completion badge and access to post-workshop learning materials.
