Re: [openvsx] Practical AI Engineering Workflows Workshop, Brussels, June 23rd

Hi,

With just one week to go before the workshop (https://aieclipse.org/ai-workshop/), I still have 3 complimentary passes available, providing free access to the full day training...

If you know developers, engineering students, open source contributors, or technology leaders based in or around Brussels who are interested in learning practical AI software engineering workflows, this could be a good opportunity.

Anyone interested can reach out to me directly at thomas.froment@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I'll be happy to share one of the remaining passes.

Best,
Thomas

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an opportunity that may be of interest to members of the Eclipse IDE and Open VSX communities.

On June 23rd, we are hosting a full day AI Tooling workshop in Brussels, focused on practical software engineering workflows with tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Theia AI.

Rather than focusing on the features of a particular tool, the workshop is centred on engineering practices, workflow design, context management, code review, and techniques that remain valuable regardless of which AI coding tool, IDE, or extension ecosystem you choose to use.

I am also pleased to mention that Jonas Helming will be one of the instructors. Many of you will know Jonas as Theia Project Lead and as a long standing contributor to Eclipse technologies and the broader open source developer tooling ecosystem.

I have a limited number of 75% discount coupons available for members of these communities. I also have a few complimentary passes that I would be happy to offer to students, open source contributors, or individuals for whom the standard registration fee would be a barrier.

If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I'm happy to share a discount code or, where appropriate, one of the complimentary passes.
