Dear S-CORE and OpenSOVD community,

It is my pleasure to invite you to a joint diagnostics architecture and integration workshop between the S-CORE and OpenSOVD projects. The workshop will take place on May 20, 2026, at the Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation (MBTI) facilities in Ulm (Wilhelm-Runge-Str. 11, 89081 Ulm). Remote participation will be available; however, we strongly encourage and prefer on-site attendance to ensure an effective and productive workshop.

The workshop's focus will be to clarify a shared target picture, identify existing architectural and technical gaps, and define concrete next steps. In particular, the workshop aims to:

  • discuss open architectural and design decisions related to diagnostics in S-CORE,
  • clarify integration prerequisites and approaches for OpenSOVD,
  • collect and align requirements and expectations from Adopters and OEMs, and
  • create a basis for faster implementation, broader adoption, and stronger industry contribution.
