thanks for the input, which will help me a lot for the meeting next week.

I still need to understand better the role of an "advisory board member" but I think I have all the info needed for now. Will keep you posted on any relevant infos from the meeting .

BMW is the main link between openPASS and V4Safety, so I assume they got the technical content wrt traffic simulation covered.

What I could imagine as additional input from your side is to highlight the benefits of open source collaboration, e. g. enabling new business models and new software solutions.

I have been working recently with Johannes from the Eclipse SDV and learned a lot about e.g. „code first standardization“ and how decoupling hardware and software leads to new opportunities, but also to new challenges. 

This is still new for most of the people in the vehicle safety community.

in my role as representative of the openPASS WG to the V4SAFETY research consortia I'm invited to "The first V4SAFETY stakeholder consultation workshop" on Monday 24th (see below)

So here are a couple of questions. 
- Will some stakeholders from the openPASS community join this event as well?
- Is there anything you want me to talk to at the event?

- would we need a prior sync meeting before the event?
