The openMDM Eclipse Working Group is looking for 2-3 senior developers to contribute to the openMDM project Eclipse MDMBL. The tasks include, but are not limited to the requirements listed in this dashboard (you need to be logged in to the openMDM Jira to view the board). The actual work will be discussed and decided with the openMDM Steering Committee or its representatives. All work shall be conducted under a times and material contract, spanning a maximum 18 week time period (or 90 working days per developer). After each 6 week period, work conducted shall be assessed and the contracts will be extended accordingly. All work will be continuously delivered to the Eclipse open source project, applying open source best practices. All work will be contributed under the EPL 1.0 to the above mentioned project where applicable. The developers need to must sign the Eclipse Contribution agreement or the Eclipse Committer Agreement (if they are elected committers in the course of the work). Some details: The work shall commence on May 2, 2017. It shall be conducted in 42-day time box cycles, in close collaboration with the openMDM Toolbox Manager (representing the openMDM Steering Committee) as well as the openMDM QA and Architecture Committees. The workplace and communication shall be included in the offer. Travel expenses need to be approved by the openMDM Chair prior to the travel and will be reimbursed as they occur. The contract issued will be between the Eclipse Foundation Inc, (a USA not-for-profit corporation) and you, the contractor.
