Many contributors to OpenHW Github have already implemented Two Factor Authentication. Github began rolling out 2FA requirements in 2023.

This is to notify you that 2FA will become mandatory to access OpenHW Github repos, and all other Eclipse Foundation Github repos, as of April 30th (and for new members as of February 2)

Here are the Github instructions for implementing 2FA

Please implement 2FA well prior to April 30, as you may need to be manually re-invited back to the OpenHW "Github Member" list if you do not implement 2FA prior to the deadline.
