Re: [open-regulatory-compliance] Reminder: ORC Working Group elections - nomination period ends January 20, 2026.

Dear all,

I'm writing to nominate myself for a position on the Steering Committee and the Specification Committee of the ORC Working Group as a representative of a Participant Member (OBEO).

Since January 2023, I have been In-House Lawyer at Obeo, an independent open-source software provider actively contributing to projects such as Sirius Web, Eclipse SysON, Acceleo, EMF Compare, and M2Doc. Prior to this role, I spent six years as an attorney-at-law at a leading U.S. law firm, advising on EU regulatory compliance, contract law, and competition matters.

Over the past year, I have been directly involved in work related to the Cyber Resilience Act, including participation in the CRA working group and contributions to the CNLL’s CRA implementation guide. This experience has strengthened my ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for open source actors.

I am keen to continue contributing to the ORC Working Group by supporting pragmatic CRA compliance, advocating for SMEs, and helping turn regulatory obligations into opportunities for trust and innovation in open source.
