[open-regulatory-compliance] Preparing for the ORC Working Group Launch: Key Updates and Action Items

Hello everyone,

As we approach the official launch of the ORC Working Group, we’re excited to start coordinating activities to make this a successful and impactful debut. Here are a few important updates and action items to keep in mind:

Press Release: Scheduled for September 24, 2024

  • Announcement Details: We’ll be announcing the formation of the working group and highlighting all ORC Working Group member organizations. To ensure your organization is included, please submit your membership paperwork by September 17th.

  • Member Quotes: We invite all members to contribute a brief quote (2-3 sentences) about your participation and the value of this initiative. Please include the name and title of the person to whom the quote should be attributed. Submit your quote by September 17th to meet our language translation and inclusion deadline.

  • Review: A draft of the press release will be circulated shortly.

  • Additional Announcements: Members are welcome to issue their own press releases or announcements on the launch day or afterward. Eclipse is happy to provide supporting quotes—please coordinate with me directly.

Blog Posts:

  • In support of the launch, Mike Milinkovich will be sharing a blog post that discusses in more detail the ORC mission and our members. 

  • We also encourage you to publish your own blog posts to amplify the message.

Social Media:

  • A social media kit will be shared with you via this mailing list in advance of the launch. Please coordinate with your teams to promote the working group launch across your social channels.

Working Group Website:

  • The ORC Working Group website (orcwg.org) is now live! While we’re making some additional adjustments before the launch, the site is a WIP and will continue to evolve. 

  • Please ensure your organization’s logo and links are correctly uploaded to the member portal so that you’re properly represented.
