The Eclipse Foundation is formally wrapping up the OpenMDM Working Group, consistent with the recommendation of its Steering Committee and the Eclipse Foundation Working Group Process.
OpenMDM was one of our longest-running working groups, established in 2014 to cultivate an open ecosystem of tools, systems, qualification kits, and adapters for standardized, vendor-independent measurement data management, adhering to the ASAM ODS standard. The Foundation recognizes that Working Groups may conclude after achieving their objectives.
As a result of this wrap-up:
All relevant materials will be archived by the Eclipse Management Organization.
All OpenMDM Working Group Participation Agreements with Members will automatically terminate.
We wish to confirm that the related Eclipse Automotive MDM/BL project remains ongoing and successfully delivered version 5.3.0 on December 1, 2025.
