Hello,
over the last year we had a few Oniro PMC members stepping down from their duties. I would like to thank them for all the work they have been putting into the project!
To now come back to an operational PMC for Oniro I would like to offer myself as PMC lead going forward.
For those of you who do not know me:
I am with the Oniro WG from its start. Since 2020 I am working as principal architect in the Huawei OSTC with my full focus on Oniro. I am looking on engineering tasks on the Huawei side and partners and coordinate with other working group members in our engineering calls. I also represent the Oniro committers in the Oniro steering committee.
If you have any questions feel free to reply here or reach out to me on other channels.
In addition, I would like to propose Jaroslaw Marek and Luca Miotto as new PMC members as well. Both of them have also been with the project and the WG from its beginning.
Luca is helping us with project management and is also heavily involved in the IP toolchain work in NOI tech park.
Jarek is managing our engineering resources on Huawei side and is taking charge of the marketing committee in Oniro.
To make it clear, this is a _proposal_, we are more than happy if we see other proposals to share the load of the working group. :-)
