[oniro-dev] Meeting minutes EDDIE bi-weekly call 2022-07-13

Hello all.

Please find below the meeting minutes for this weeks call:

Polimi updates
- Reached milestone 1 and demoed it locally between two Pi4's
- Demo video is also available as reference:

- All changes included in the demo are being prepared for submission into the main EDDIE repo now

Huawei:
- Multicast has been fixed on EDDIE Zephyr with OpenThread -> multicast device discovery with CoAP is now working
- The CATS Oniro Blueprint is starting to use the same setup for the networking layer as EDDIE now
 
Synesthesia updates:
- [AI] Hands-on planning for MPAI with Zephyr call
- Unito to look into CoRE as format as well as ontologies
- CoRE for resource description and JSON for the content/payload could be a good mixture
- Pupsub as IPC might be worth evaluating for EDDIE, maybe also later on upstreaming to Zephyr community

Due to the upcoming vacation season we have changes to our upcoming meetings:
- Francesco Amigo will be driving the next normal meeting at the 27.07
- The meeting on the 10.08 will be cancelled
- Regular meeting schedule again from 24.08 onwards
