[mylyn-integrators] Mylyn uses EMF in Task API ?

Hi,

I would like to know if Mylyn uses a EMF/ecore model to describes the 
entities of Task API, it uses ?

I'm asking this because I have a ecore model in my tool that I 'm 
thinking to integrate with Mylyn.
