Someone from Platform/UI will have to comment on whether they want to put
resources to maintaining such a component.  Mylyn can put some effort to
generalizing its screen capture facility because I agree that it would be
good to have a unified UI for it.  So what I was offering is that this can
start out in Mylyn and then move to Platform UI if there is sufficient
interest and resources to evolve I there.  But if others have interest in
doing the API and UI in Platform that sounds great (i.e. less work for us),
and once that implementation has matured Mylyn could try to move to it and
contribute improvements as we do so.
