[mpc-dev] Contributor Guide

Greetings,
Im following the contributor guide;

Nothing seems to be working? Do I have the wrong page?
git clone git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/mpc/org.eclipse.epp.mpc mpc
Times out and never gives a clone.
I did a FORK and was able to grab the source.
mvn clean install
