A project lead election for Leif Geiger on project Eclipse Marketplace Client
(technology.packaging.mpc) was started by Carsten Reckord with this criteria:

Leif has worked as a committer on the MPC project for over a year now,
providing many good patches and feature improvements. He has already taken
over the release process for the last couple of releases, and helped out with
handling incoming bugs and most other day-to-day activities. So he will be
able to take over seamlessly.

More importantly, I have worked with Leif for over 15 years and know him as
one of the most capable software engineers and project managers I've had the
honor of working with. I'm confident that I leave the project in the best
hands with him.
