Sven,
So it's just a build tool you use to produce a minimized
Android-friendly runtime. That sounds very reasonable. No one will
care about the license of the build tool because they're not using
it themselves and it's not being redistributed...

Hi all,
Xtend is being used for Android development a lot. To reduce the
footprint we want to ship a tree-shaken version of our library,
only including what’s absolutely necessary. ProGuard does that for
us and is used therefore during the build. As it seems this is
treated as a “works with dependencies” we need a CQ [1] for this
and it requires a public “discussion” within the PMC [2].
So could you please approve?
Thanks,
Sven
