Hallo Benjamin, klingt aus meiner Sicht gut. Die Antwort von Phillipp W. Kutter hilft vermutlich nicht wirklich weiter, außer Du hättest Interesse den bestehenden Editor auf Basis von GMF umzuschreiben bzw. generieren zu lassen (irgendwann in der Zukunft dann vielleicht auch mal gegen
Graphiti als Laufzweit)… ;-) Ed’s Antwort trifft das ganze eigentlich gut: wichtig ist es, das Proposal zu schreiben und dafür Werbung zu machen. Idealerweise hat man bereits ein paar potentielle Verwender angefragt und dort Interesse signalisiert bekommen, es geht
grundsätzlich auch ohne, es ist dann aber schwieriger Unterstützung zu bekommen. Grundsätzliches Problem ist aber wie Ed schon geschrieben hat, die SAP-Affinität. Das ganze sieht zur Zeit nach einer One-Company-Veranstaltung aus, insbesondere da TAM auch auf SAP-Standards basiert. Die Abgrenzung zu UML-Tools wie Papyrus
ist denke ich auch wichtig, hier den pragmatischen Ansatz zu betonen ist denke ich der richtige Weg. Um ein bißchen Publikum zu schaffen, kannst Du zum TAM-Editor Forums-Einträge z.B. im MDT-Forum schreiben. Vielleicht entwickelt sich daraus eine Diskussion, die Dir weiterhilft. Du kannst auch gerne im Graphiti-Forum einen Eintrag machen,

On Behalf Of Schmeling, Benjamin Dear Modeling PMC, I’ve sent a new project proposal to the EMO which is strongly related to the Eclipse Modeling Project. This proposal is about technical architecture modeling (TAM) which is the standard for modeling and describing technical
architecture at SAP (please refer to:
http://www.fmc-modeling.org/fmc-and-tam). It is a combination of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Fundamental Modeling Concepts (FMC). This pragmatic combination resulted from modeling best practices at SAP defining a subset of diagram types and
elements of both standards. TAM uses subsets of UML Activity, State and Sequence diagrams to model behavioral aspects, Class Diagrams to model data structures and relations and FMC Block diagrams for compositional structures. In this proposed project a FMC
Block diagram editor based on Eclipse Graphiti is planned to be developed, whereas the UML diagram types should be taken from Papyrus UML.
Hence, I proposed the EMO to make the TAM project a subproject of MDT. However, the MDT project seems to be eliminated in the future. This is why the EMO proposed to make the project a subproject of the Eclipse Modeling
