Re: [modeling-pmc] Epsilon's graduation from incubation
|
Dear Modelling PMC,
As briefly discussed with Kenn and Ed, EMF is probably not the natural place for Epsilon to move to, and splitting Epsilon across MMT/M2T (Epsilon contains both M2M, M2T and other languages for tasks such as validation, pattern matching, migration, refactoring etc.) does not sound great either.
A sensible way forward could be for Epsilon to graduate as a sub-project directly under Eclipse Modelling. Would the PMC be OK with this?
Best regards,
Dimitris

In preparation for this, we've put together a draft deck of slides according to [1]. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
