This message serves as a preliminary notification regarding the upcoming MicroProfile Working Group election. Its purpose is to encourage eligible individuals to consider standing for election and casting their votes. No immediate action is required.
The MicroProfile Working Group Charter requires an annual election to select a Committer Member Representative for its Steering Committee.
The Eclipse Foundation intends to conduct the 2025-26 MicroProfile election on behalf of the Working Group commencing in early September. Detailed instructions and precise timelines will be released via email during the first part of September.
Membership Nomination Eligibility:
To be eligible for election, Committer Members must be actively involved in projects under the working group's purview. Committers are considered members if they are either: a) employed by a working group corporate member, or b) an individual committer who has signed the MicroProfile Working Group’s Participation Agreement.
