Re: [microprofile-wg] [External] : Re: [BALLOT][PLAN REVIEW]MicroProfile 6.0 - Voting ends September 28th

+1 (Oracle)
Please note, I would discourage the practice of including the
micro-version number in the final release documentation. It seems
eminently probable that additional micro/bug-fix releases may
occur during the life of any "Uber" release of MicroProfile. I
don't think we'd want to have to revise the MicroProfile release
every time that happens. My recommendation would be to stick with
Major.Minor release versions in the top-level specification.
(Conversely, any change that might be specific to a a top-level
release really ought to be a candidate for a minor release bump.)
That said, we can live with this for a Plan review, hence our +1
position.

September 28th, 2022. The ballot requires a Super-majority
positive vote of the Steering Committee members. There is
no veto. Community input and Community votes are welcomed.
However, only the votes delivered by Steering Committee
Representatives will be counted.
