|Re: [microprofile-wg] [microprofile] MicroProfile OpenTelemetry Plan Creation Review - discussion prior to ballot
Hi Emily. The Linux Foundation claims OpenTelemetry as a trademark and has very specific trademark usage guidelines that forbid including their trademarks in product names. Please choose a different name for the specification that is inline with the rules and policies described in the Linux Foundation's trademark usage guidelines. Note that other marks (e.g., the logo) can be used by the specification but must also conform to their trademark usage guidelines. If you have any questions, please connect with trademarks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I monitor these channels irregularly, so questions posed here might not get answered quickly.WayneOn Tue, Feb 1, 2022 at 5:30 PM 'Emily Jiang' via MicroProfile <microprofile@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:--As discussed on today's MicroProfile Live hangout, MicroProfile OpenTelemetry group would like to socialise the idea of the creation of MicroProfile OpenTelemetry.
