Hi Amelia,
When was this
request discussed?  First off, none of the private email distribution
lists within Eclipse are archived.  I'm not trying to speak for the
EF, but that's been my understanding from day one.  The majority of
the email lists are public and archived.  But, the few private email
lists are not archived.

Also, since we
have the public microprofile-wg email list that is public and archived,
isn't that sufficient?  Our use of the private microprofile-steering
email list has been extremely light (if ever used).  

I think having
the public mailing list archived is sufficient.  If there is a desire
for the private email list to be archived, then we should discuss that
desire and its merits before attempting to change this configuration (which
I doubt that EF will change anyway).
